Sharing in the experience of singing (and frequently eating and drinking together) has led quite naturally to former members of the Choir wishing to maintain the friendships they first made whilst at the School and the College. The first formal associations (that we know of) were the Old Choristers’ Association (founded circa 1952) and the Choral Students Association (founded c. 1955). These were succeeded in 1995 with the formation of the St John’s College Choir Association. In 2008 the constitution was updated and a new committee was put in place committing the College to providing a greater level of support for the activities of the Choir Association.
